Polisi Selidiki Mayat Terbungkus Sampah Plastik yang Ditemukan di Soppeng

FAJAR.CO.ID, MAKASSAR — Warga Desa Congko, Kecamatan Marioriwawo, Kabupaten Soppeng, dihebohkan dengan ditemukannya sesosok jenazah terbungkus selimut dan kantong sampah plastik di areal kebun warga, Senin (30/3/2026).

Kondisi jenazah yang membusuk dan lokasi penemuan yang terpencil menimbulkan dugaan adanya upaya pembuangan untuk menghilangkan jejak.

Laporan warga tersebut langsung ditindaklanjuti oleh Polsek Soppeng.

Polisi kemudian melakukan olah TKP sebelum mengevakuasi jenazah korban dari lokasi ditemukannya.

Dievakuasi ke Makassar untuk Pemeriksaan Forensik

Usai proses awal di lokasi, jenazah dibawa ke Instalasi Forensik RS Bhayangkara Biddokkes, Polda Sulawesi Selatan, Makassar.

Pemeriksaan forensik dilakukan untuk mengungkap identitas dan penyebab kematian korban.

Namun kondisi jenazah yang sudah mengalami pembusukan lanjut membuat proses identifikasi awal menjadi sulit.

Hingga saat ini polisi belum bisa memastikan identitas maupun jenis kelamin korban.

Tim Forensik Biddokkes Polda Sulsel, Ipda Sultan mengatakan, tim penyidik langsung bergerak ke lokasi setelah menerima laporan warga.

Mendapat informasi ditemukannya jenazah, tim penyidik yang dipimpin Kapolres Soppeng dan tim penyidik lainnya menuju TKP untuk mengevakuasi jenazah yang ditemukan, kata Sultan, Selasa (31/3/2026).

Identitasnya Masih Misterius

Tim Inafis Polres Soppeng kemudian mengevakuasi jenazah ke Makassar untuk pemeriksaan lebih lanjut. Hingga saat ini, identitas korban masih belum diketahui.
